During the International Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine (URC 2024) in Berlin, attended by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, and in his presence, several significant cooperation agreements were signed with financial institutions and energy companies.
The primary objective is the development of generation and networks, crucial for the restoration of energy facilities after Russian attacks.
Among the signed agreements are:

Memorandum of Understanding with Siemens Energy AG, essential for the implementation of energy-efficient technologies, decentralized electricity generation, and increased use of RES (Renewable Energy Sources).

Memorandum of Understanding with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, vital for the development of new combined heat and power projects based on steam-gas turbines technology for PJSC "Ukrnafta." This will provide cities with heat and light amidst Russian attacks.

Cooperation Memorandum between PJSC "Ukrnafta" and Deutsche Bank AG, crucial for financing the construction of gas and steam-gas power plants for heat and electricity production.

Memorandum with GE Vernova offering solutions for the development of smart grids, particularly in the Kharkiv and Ternopil regions.

Memorandum in the transition to renewable energy sources with GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment GmbH, involving the construction of 500 MW of solar panels.

Additionally, a Memorandum to initiate a Norwegian-Ukrainian energy partnership was signed.
In the presence of Herman Halushchenko, an Agreement was signed for Germany (through the KfW credit institution) to provide financial support to Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the amount of 30.4 million euros.
