In Dartmouth (USA), at the UMass Dartmouth CVPA Campus gallery, the exhibition "Transformation" by the Ukrainian artist ZINAIDA has opened. It showcases the artist's works with mesmerizing and meditative depictions of femininity.
From ZINAIDA's extensive collection of video and photo works, five of the most emblematic pieces for her creativity were selected for the exhibition: Dakini, Flow, Red Piano, Wedding Crown, and Transformation.
In ZINAIDA's video, mythical figures intertwine with various symbols of life and transition to another world. Slow, deliberate movements are accompanied by deep atmospheric music. The artist depicts the continuous cycle of life, where woman is the bearer of its inception.
"Thanks to the ability to give life, feminine energy is the foundation of all existence," explains ZINAIDA.
The exhibition "Transformation" was organized by the director of UMass Dartmouth Gallery, Vieira Levitt, with the support of Sapar Contemporary Gallery + Incubator (New York). The exhibition can be viewed until March 25th.
