The Russian troops have less and less forces left, so they are forced to narrow their capabilities to maintain combat capability in certain areas. Military expert Oleg Zhdanov expressed this opinion on the air of Radio NV.
"They abandoned Kharkov direction since they do not have enough troops to maintain it in proper combat readiness and with proper combat potential. And, by the way, they are transferring these battalion-tactical groups, partially withdrawn for reorganization. And those that partially still retain some kind of combat capability, they are transferred precisely to the Severodonetsk direction," the expert said.
"They have fewer and fewer forces. Therefore, they are forced to narrow their capabilities to maintain combat capability in certain areas," he said.
At the same time, Zhdanov noted that Kharkiv itself should continue to be constantly on the defensive.
"The eastern outskirts of Kharkiv should look like a fortress and be ready because the distance from the Russian border is minimal. Although we have not yet seen the formation of any shock groups opposite Kharkiv, nevertheless, vigilance should not be lost," the military expert warned.
An american analysts assessed, Ukraine seems to have won the battle for Kharkiv.
