This morning, on March 22, Russian missile carriers with Kalibr missiles onboard were spotted in the Black Sea. The aggressor country has deployed these ships for combat duty after a long pause.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, as of 6 a.m., two Russian ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles are present in the Black Sea.

In the event of a full salvo, these enemy vessels could launch up to 8 missiles.

The Navy reported that, meanwhile, no enemy ships have been detected in the Sea of Azov.

At the same time, four Russian ships are located in the Mediterranean Sea, three of which are equipped with Kalibrs, with a potential total salvo of up to 26 missiles.

The Ukrainian Navy also reported that in the past 24 hours, 7 ships passed through the Kerch Strait in favor of Russia:

  • To the Black Sea: 7 ships, 4 of which continued towards the Bosporus Strait.

  • To the Sea of Azov: 3 ships, 1 of which continued from the Bosporus Strait.

"The Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems," the Ukrainian Navy stated.
