In Russia’s Bryansk region, the Karachev “Elektrodetal” factory was attacked on the night before Monday, according to Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, who reported it on Telegram.

“The Karachev ‘Elektrodetal’ factory in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation was hit,” the report states.

The factory specializes in producing electrical connectors — key components for military equipment.

Its products are used in missile control systems, aviation and space technology, tanks, armored personnel carriers, other armored vehicles, communication systems, and control devices.

UPDATE

Neptune missiles struck the Russian “Elektrodetal” factory in the Bryansk region, the Ukrainian Navy reported.

“Effectively, ‘Elektrodetal’ is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, without which the assembly and repair of modern Russian weapons is disrupted,” Kovalenko emphasized.

He noted that the factory produces tens of thousands of types of connectors that are integrated into the electronics of combat systems.

The Telegram channel Astra also reported the attack on the factory, citing local residents.

As noted, the enterprise may produce electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the Russian army.
