Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Security Service has reported suspicions of more than 760 Russian citizens. The exposed criminals are involved in waging an aggressive war, war crimes, and subversive activities against our state. Counterintelligence work is constantly underway to identify persons who are assisting the enemy on the territory of Ukraine.

So, in the end of June, counterintelligence agents of SBU exposed and detained the agent of the Russian Federation who corrected rocket attacks on the Yavoriv military range in the Lviv region.

The operatives of the special service established that the information was passed to the enemy by a former KGB officer. He sent the exact locations marked on the map to the curator through a specially hidden chat in the Telegram channel.

We will remind that as a result of rocket attacks on the Yavoriv range the 61 servicemen were lost and 147 more were wounded.

Currently, the Russian agent was informed about the suspicion under Part 1. Art. 111 (treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and a precautionary measure in the form of detention without the possibility of bail was chosen.

Meanwhile, in Kyiv:

SBU counterintelligence officers detained a Russian intelligence agent who was correcting missile strikes on the capital. After the shelling, he "reported" their results to his curator and sent him photos from the scene.

Among the targets of the enemy was a strategically important defense plant.

An agent of the invaders was an employee of one of the machine-building enterprises. Among his colleagues, he expressed support for the aggressors and denied their crimes, including the shelling of Ukrainian cities.

Another enemy accomplice was also exposed at one of Kyiv's state-owned enterprises. The attacker sent provocative materials to the employees of the institution via Telegram. In his reports, he justified the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation allegedly for the "defense of Donbas."

During the investigation, the attacker was found with mobile phones with evidence of criminal acts, as well as firearms and electronic flash drives with official documents.

In the Donetsk region:

a Russian agent gathering intelligence on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut area was detained. It is established that the enemy recruited the traitor in June this year to carry out subversive activities on the Eastern Front.

He used pre-arranged closed channels to transmit information.

In the Chernihiv region:

Detained an enemy agitator who called on social networks to support the occupiers and denied their war crimes. He coordinated his activities with representatives of the special services of the Russian Federation, which are located in the temporarily occupied territory of eastern Ukraine.

In addition, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, SBU officers exposed the theft of more than 1 million hryvnias allocated for the modernization of railway infrastructure.

The equipment was organized by the head of the local commercial structure, which won the tender for repair work on the Dnieper railway facilities. According to the signed documents, the contractors had to perform technical re-equipment, replace obsolete units and service of traction substations.

However, the relevant work was not carried out in full, and part of the budget money was cast into the shadows by the scheme participants due to the artificial overestimation of the cost estimates.

In Zaporizhzhia:

According to the SBU military counterintelligence, a militant of the DNR terrorist organization, who fought against Ukraine, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The malefactor was detained near the village of Lyubimovka, Zaporizhzhia region.

It was established that he was a member of the occupation group and actively participated in hostilities against Ukrainian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.

According to all the revealed facts of criminal activity, systematic work is underway to expose and bring to justice all the perpetrators.
