The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has arrested another Russian agent in the Odessa region. The individual was coordinating Russian missile and drone strikes on local Defense Forces positions.

According to the case materials, the suspect is a 26-year-old local unemployed man, recruited by the Russian forces through Telegram channels seeking "easy" earnings.

For secrecy, the agent grew long hair and posed as a woman. Disguised in women's clothing, he photographed military objects and recorded their coordinates.

According to internal security sources in the SSU, the potential targets included Ukrainian Armed Forces bases, the Security Service, and border guard stations in the port city of Izmail.

The information gathered was planned to be used for a new series of air attacks on the Odessa region.

However, SSU agents acted swiftly, exposing the agent in time, documenting his crimes, and arresting him at his residence.

During the search, a mobile phone containing evidence of his intelligence and sabotage activities in favor of Russia was seized.

SSU investigators have informed the suspect of the charges under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed in wartime conditions).

The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with asset confiscation.
