The Security Service of Ukraine has gathered evidence against two more traitors involved in the abduction of Ukrainian children during the occupation of Kherson.
This time, the suspects are Konstantin Skorupskyi, the so-called "Minister of Health of Crimea," and his deputy, Anton Liaskovskyi.
According to the case materials, during the occupation of Kherson, the suspects abducted 46 young children from a local orphanage and transported them to Simferopol.
To carry out the operation, Skorupskyi and Liaskovskyi arrived in the occupied city and organized buses to transport the children, aged between one and five years old, to the Crimean Peninsula.
It has been established that the criminals personally escorted the abducted children to their destination — the Yalinka children's home in Crimea.
Investigations show that both suspects are locals who supported the seizure of the peninsula back in 2014 and collaborated with the enemy. Later, the traitors were offered positions within the Russian occupation authorities, where they eventually assumed leadership roles.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU investigators have notified Skorupskyi and Liaskovskyi of their suspicion in absentia under part 2 of Article 28 and part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war, committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy).
Comprehensive measures are ongoing to bring both traitors to justice for crimes against Ukrainians.
The investigation is being conducted under the procedural supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
