In the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, a protest was held the previous evening against the results of the parliamentary elections.

According to Sova, students marched to the Georgian Parliament building, waving flags of Georgia and the EU. They carried placards emphasizing that the youth of Georgia chooses Europe over Russia, advocating for a European path rather than a return to the Soviet past.

At the protest, students came with flags of Georgia and the EU, holding placards that emphasized that the youth of Georgia chooses Europe over Russia and advocates for a European path rather than a return to the Soviet past.

In conversations with journalists, they stressed that they will not accept the reality presented to them by the authorities—the "Georgian Dream" party. They emphasized that the government is taking away their freedom, democracy, and right to vote.

"We want to live in European civilization! We will fight until a free, united, independent Georgia prevails!" declared the organizers.

"We choose Europe, not Russia! We will never return to the USSR!" reads one of the messages on a banner.

The youth do not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia on October 26, despite the Central Election Commission asserting that the Georgian Dream, which has adopted "Russian laws" (such as those concerning foreign agents and anti-LGBT legislation), won, rather than the opposition coalitions promising to continue Georgia's path towards the EU.

"The election results do not reflect the will of the people of Georgia! They were stolen from us!" states another placard.

The organizer of the youth protest is the Dafioni movement, which called on everyone at this "crucial moment" to come out and once again express their disagreement with the election results and their non-recognition of them.
