Sweden has allocated nearly half a billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine

Sweden has allocated $504.3 million to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, the government of the kingdom announced.

The Swedish Cabinet of Ministers has instructed the country’s Armed Forces to make financial contributions to multilateral funds and initiatives aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defense.

The assistance includes:

$10.5 million for purchasing demining equipment, including mine sensors, transport, and personal protective gear (within the framework of the Coalition for Demining of countries participating in the "Ramstein" format);

$31.5 million for buying various types of drones (Drone Coalition);

$5.25 million for training defenders from the Ukrainian Navy as part of the Interchange operation (Maritime Security Coalition);

$3.15 million for equipment for the Ukrainian digital military system Delta (IT Coalition);

$105 million for purchasing weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers under the Danish model;

$43.9 million for equipment to support the development of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, including the acquisition of armored vehicles (led by Denmark, with participation from Baltic and Nordic countries);

$57.79 million for the Czech and $57.37 million for the Estonian initiatives to purchase ammunition for Ukraine;

$105 million for the procurement of air defense systems and long-range drones as part of multilateral cooperation.
