A delegation of representatives from member states of the organization — Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, and Belgium — during their visit to Ukraine, met with representatives from the Ministry, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Administration of Seaports, the Shipping Administration, the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company, and other official representatives of the industry.

Among the main topics of the negotiations were a package of proposals for international technical assistance to ensure the safe operation of Ukraine's maritime sector, its recovery in the post-war period, and the results of the Ukrainian corridor's work — the temporary export corridor by the Black Sea. Over the seven months of operation, this logistics route exceeded the volumes of the Grain Initiative and reached export levels from the ports of Odessa in 2021 — almost 40 million tons.

The representatives of the International Maritime Organization delegation were also shown the consequences of constant attacks by the Russian Federation on the maritime and port infrastructure in the ports of Odessa, Pivdenny, and Izmail.
