The construction of a covered warehouse for stuffing grain and meal into containers at the Mostyska terminal is planned to be completed in July, said Dmitro Kobzar, the terminal’s CEO.

The warehouse will be equipped with a device that rotates containers at a 90º angle. This provides an advantage over the traditional grain loading technology with a grain thrower and helps to additionally load 2–4 tons of grain.

For the Mostyska container terminal, the unchanged logistical routes that operate continuously remain the regular container trains between Mostyska and the ports of Gdańsk and Gdynia. The transshipment of grain shipments by rail to EU countries, as well as the handling of fertilizers and liquid cargo, is also stable.

“As for new directions being implemented this year, bulk cargo handling has been established and these shipments have already become regular,” said Dmitro Kobzar.

Among the new directions unrelated to agricultural products, the terminal’s CEO highlighted the service of transshipment and storage of railway tracks.
