Russian forces are trying to improve their positions near the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk direction of the Kharkiv region.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group Kharkiv, Pavlo Shamshin, during a TV broadcast.
"Unfortunately, there is no floodwater. Regarding the crossing of the Oskil River, they (the Russian forces) are trying to improve their positions near Dvorichna. This usually happens with the help of a rope and a rubber boat. They throw a rope from one bank to another, and in this way, a group of two or three infantrymen usually gets into the boat, and the rope is used to pull the boat from the left bank to the right," Shamshin explained.
According to the spokesperson, once the Russian troops have crossed from one bank to the other in the boat, another enemy group uses the rope to pull the boat back.
"Of course, our aerial reconnaissance tries to track such movements. And when we manage to notice such actions in time, many Russians do not make it to the other bank," he noted.
