We are ready to announce the beginning of a new season of the Odessa song festival "For all Odessa!" The festival itself will be held on August 6 and 7 at the Odessa Summer Theater "Morvokzal", but the Odessa Song Performers Competition will start as early as January 1, 2022.
The Second International Festival of Odessa Song "For All Odessa!" will be held on August 6 and 7, 2022, traditionally at the "Morvokzal" Summer Theater.
The festival programme is at the stage of formation. The performances of a number of well-known performers working in the Odessa song genre, not only from Ukraine, are already planned. The winners of the competition will also take part in the programme.
This year the famous showman, actor Ian Levinson will join the Festival team. Festival "For all Odessa!" invites you to participate in the Odessa Song Performer Competition.
Odessa song is a special genre, where the content and manner of performance plays the main role. The song must be in Odessa language. This is a special talent, this is exactly what is inherent in the Odessa song. Working with the contestants of the last season, we received a number of original songs about Odessa, but not all of them sounded like Odessa.
Our goal is to present to the general public those talents that support the traditions of Odessa song. Therefore, this season the Competition is aimed at finding the authors, â€comments the author of the idea of ​​the Festival, Alexander Shargorodsky.
Applications will be accepted from January 1 to May 31, 2022. And at the end of June, the winners will be announced. They will have the opportunity to record their song in a professional studio and perform on the stage of the Festival.
The jury are: the author of the idea of ​​the Festival, Alexander Shargorodsky, famous musicians Felix Shinder, Sergey and Alena Menshagin, Igor Znatokov, Christina Paraskiv-Znatokova. The head of the group of arbitrator is Garik Krichevsky.

International festival of Odessa song "For all Odessa!" is a cultural platform whose mission is to support and develop the musical traditions of Odessa, headed by the Odessa City Song.The first season of the Festival took place in August 2020, and featured over 30 participants from three countries. The headliners were Valentin Kuba, Felix Shinder and Garik Krichevsky. More than 3500 guests attended three festival days.
