Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two more FSB agents in the Dnipropetrovsk region who were coordinating Russian air strikes on the area.
According to case materials, the suspects were recruited via Telegram while seeking “quick earnings.” They operated separately but shared a common handler, whose identity has already been established by SSU officers.
One of the detainees is a 47-year-old former employee of a local defense enterprise who, on the FSB’s orders, searched for combat positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ anti-aircraft missile and radar systems.
The traitor also transmitted to the occupiers the coordinates of repair bases and other logistical centers of the Defense Forces.
Another offender is a 54-year-old parking lot security guard in Dnipro. Under instructions from a Russian intelligence officer, he patrolled the city outskirts attempting to identify Ukrainian air defense positions.
Besides reconnaissance missions, the suspect gathered necessary information from acquaintances during casual conversations.
During searches, phones with evidence of work for Russia were seized from the detainees.
SSU investigators charged the agents under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed during martial law).
The offenders are held in custody without the right to bail. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
