A trilateral meeting between representatives of Ukraine, Romania, and the European Commission took place in the city of Galați as part of the “Solidarity Lanes” initiative.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

During the meeting, the parties discussed improving the PRIMUS platform for data exchange, enhancing navigation safety and logistics, and preparing a Memorandum of Understanding.

“The Danube ports have become key logistical gateways for Ukraine to Europe. That’s why it’s important to already be developing and expanding systematic, transparent, and technological cooperation with Romanian and European partners,” said Oleksandr Semyrha, head of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

The Authority emphasized that the meeting confirmed the shared commitment to strengthening transport links that are crucial for Ukraine’s economic recovery and integration into the EU.
