On the night of July 27 (starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 26), Russia launched an attack with 147 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones (some jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Russia's Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Oryol regions, as well as from occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

The air assault was repelled by Ukraine's Air Force, air defense missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.

As of 8:00 a.m., preliminary reports indicate that Ukraine's air defenses had shot down or suppressed 123 UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other drone types, over northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Russian drones struck 10 locations, with a total of 21 impact drones recorded. Debris from intercepted drones fell at seven additional locations.
