In Paris, European leaders discussed new defense packages for Ukraine. A decision was also made to continue sanctions against Russia.
This was stated in a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky shared that at the meeting of European leaders in Paris, the key topics were:

Strengthening Ukraine's security,

Pressuring Russia for peace,

Agreeing on joint security steps.
According to the president, Europe confirmed its ability to defend itself, and now, together with Kyiv, it is working on ensuring greater security for Ukraine and all European nations. Zelensky also noted that the leaders tasked military representatives from countries that are ready to take concrete steps to ensure peace to meet and work out the necessary details.
He also added that there are new decisions regarding partner investments in Ukraine's defense production. The president emphasized that the Danish model continues to work effectively, and this year, together with partners, Ukraine will produce more drones and other weapons for protecting lives.
"Thank you to every leader, every country, that helps Ukraine. Thank you to France and the UK for making our coalition of willing and capable partners to work for security so effective," the head of Ukraine concluded.
