The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, had a telephone conversation with the Chief of Defense Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Wayne Donald Eyre.

He wrote about it on his Facebook page.

I have thanked him in his person to the Prime Minister of Canada and the entire Canadian Nation for the military assistance to our Nation within full-scale russian aggression.

According to him, one of the topics of the conversation was Canada's military aid to Ukraine.

We discussed substantively the flow and amount of weaponry and materiel supply. General Eyre brings huge personal effort to the support of Ukraine, which I’m very grateful for.
