In July 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and commissioned 8 new ground robotic systems for the Defense Forces. All of them are domestically produced.
This was reported by the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.
Most of the robotic systems commissioned in July are capable of performing logistics and special tasks, as well as evacuating wounded personnel. Among July’s innovations are also versatile multifunctional platforms. Ukrainian ground robots are built on tracked or wheeled chassis, equipped with modern communication and video transmission systems. They operate under various weather conditions and can cover significant distances.
Since the beginning of 2025, the defense ministry has codified and commissioned a total of 40 ground robotic systems, all Ukrainian-made. Last year, nearly 60 robotic systems were commissioned, and the year before, 13.
