On the night of August 15 (starting from 19:30 on August 14), the Russian forces attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Voronezh and Bryansk regions, 97 Shahed-type strike UAVs, and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo (Russia).
The strike UAVs targeted frontline areas in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles struck the Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 63 Shahed-type UAVs and various types of decoy drones in the north and east of the country.
Missile and 34 UAV impacts were recorded at 13 locations.
