On the night of May 25, the Russian army shelled the Kharkiv region, damaging two farms and killing at least 40 cows and heifers, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported on Facebook.
According to the report, at around 2:00 a.m. on May 25, the Russian military attacked the village of Mokra Rokytna in the Kharkiv district, using six strike drones. As a result of the hits, cowsheds and storage facilities of a local farm were damaged. At least 30 heads of cattle were killed.
At approximately 2:50 a.m., drones struck the village of Slobozhanske in the Izium area. Agricultural enterprise buildings were damaged, and at least 10 heifers were killed.
An investigation has been launched by the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Izium district prosecutor’s offices of Kharkiv region on charges of war crimes (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
All possible and necessary measures are being taken to document war crimes committed by Russian servicemen, the Office of the Prosecutor General assured.
