Israeli Security Cabinet member and leader of the 'Tikva Hadasha' party, Gideon Sa'ar, gave an extensive interview to the TBN television network.
Among other things, Gideon Sa'ar stated,
'We are at war against the Iranian regime and its proxies, supported by Russia. Iran has created terrorist proxies to distract us, including from the process of developing nuclear weapons. After Russia's attack on Ukraine, Iran became a key supplier of weapons and more to Russia. It became clear that this would not be a unilateral move – Iran expects Russia's assistance in confronting Israel. In other words, the war in Ukraine formed a Russian-Iranian alliance. World leaders must realize that Russia and Iran are now united."
