The company Olis (Odessa) has designed and launched a new grain processing plant for Tõrvaaugu Mahe Talu (Leibre, Estonia) with a capacity of 24 tons per day, announced Dmitry Kysylevskyi, deputy head of the parliamentary committee on economic development.
"The grain processing plant is based on the advanced 'Optymatik-G-24' technology, which involves processing buckwheat grain into grain kernels. The production complex also includes aspiration, gravity conveyors, pneumatic transport, electronics, and automation," he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
According to the member of parliament, Olis engineers adapted the equipment to the architectural features of the Estonian client's production premises and implemented multi-format packaging — from big bags to small packaging.
"For the production of equipment for the new grain processing plant, Olis used the state program of affordable loans '5-7-9,'" he noted.
Kysylevskyi added that Olis produces over 200 types of equipment for grain milling into flour and cereals, grain cleaning, and quality control. The capacity of the grain mills they design and install ranges from 15 to 300 tons per day.
The export share of the company's product sales is 25%. The level of localization of the equipment it produces is about 75%. The company employs 211 people.
"The 25% agricultural machinery cost compensation program is already helping the factory win competition in the domestic market against manufacturers from Turkey, China, Switzerland, Poland, and Canada. (…) The company also benefits from the opportunity to sell equipment with state grants for processing (up to 8 million UAH on co-financing terms). The cheapest grain mill produced by 'Olis' costs from 4 million UAH," Kysylevskyi said.
According to information on the company's website, Olis has been operating in Ukraine for 20 years, designing, manufacturing, and installing equipment for cleaning, processing, and quality control of grain. It developed, among other things, one of the largest grain cleaning drum separators in the world, Luch-300, with a capacity of over 300 tons/hour, installed at the Starokostiantyniv MEZ, Transgrain Terminal in Chornomorsk, and other enterprises in Ukraine and abroad.
Currently, it exports its developments to more than 35 countries worldwide, from Canada to Tanzania, and from the EU to Central Asia.
