According to the Administration of the Seaports of Ukraine, the port of Yuzhny handled 47.7 million tons of cargo in 11 months of 2021; the most relevant result in Ukraine.
The Administration of the Seaports of Ukraine published operational data on the results of the port operations for the period from January to November 2021. During this period, the port of Yuzhny (Pivdenny) was the leader in cargo transshipment among Ukrainian ports. In total, all stevedoring companies, both state and private, handled 47 million 695 thousand tons of cargo.
Of this volume, the export cargo was 38 million 243 thousand tons, import - 5 million 570 thousand tons, transit - 4 million 93 thousand tons.
Ores and various bulk ore cargoes handled 26.31 million tons, grain - 8.57 million tons.
By type of cargo, the most significant number was bulk - 40.25 million tons, liquid - 4.33 million tons, general and packaged-piece - 3.1 million tons. Containers handled 2.74 million tons (212 768 TEU).
According to the results of 10 months, until October 2021, 42.6 million tons of cargo were handled in the Yuzhny port.
