A notable change in the situation at sea is the resumption of the ferry crossing by the Russians using one of the repaired ferries.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a United News telethon.
"A significant change in the maritime situation is the resumption of the ferry crossing using one of the repaired ferries. It is half the size of the 'Slavyanin' in terms of the number of wagons it can carry, but as you can see, they don't have much choice," said Pletenchuk.
He also mentioned that there are currently two enemy submarines of Project 636 in the Black Sea, which are cruise missile carriers.
"Currently, there are two Project 636 submarines in the sea. These are so-called 'Varshavyanka' submarines, which carry cruise missiles. However, one of them has been at sea for quite some time, and it is likely that there will be a rotation of these submarines," Pletenchuk explained.
According to him, the primary Russian presence at sea today is ensured by submarines.
"Surface ships have not entered the Black Sea for a long time, and they have completely left the Sea of Azov," added the Navy spokesperson.
