In Ukraine, a stealth reconnaissance drone with intelligent control has been developed to be invisible to radio electronic warfare. According to Bogdan Sas, co-founder of the Buntar Aerospace project, this development will significantly enhance military reconnaissance capabilities deep within enemy territory.
"Announcing an important project we've been working on for half a year. Buntar Aerospace was born out of a crucial need: to increase the number of successfully executed reconnaissance missions deep within enemy territory. Each successful mission results in the destruction of air defense systems, electronic warfare systems, command posts, or ammunition depots," he explained.
The project's team aims to automate the experience of the best reconnaissance operators into intelligent products. As a result, they have developed their first product—a reconnaissance drone with an intelligent control system, making it less susceptible to interference from REB during operations.
"This is an incredible opportunity to apply all our experience in building civilian startups, product development, and manufacturing in the field of defense technologies that will impact the course of this war," noted Sas. He is working on the project alongside Katerina Bezsudna and Ivan Kaunov.
"The rest of the team members prefer to remain anonymous. Their developments have already proven their effectiveness on the battlefield. Pilots and operators have extensive experience in reconnaissance flights within specialized units of the Defense Forces," added Bogdan Sas.
According to him, the team is currently developing three products. Initial field trials have already been conducted, and the developments are being prepared for combat missions in March.
He promised to provide more details about the project soon.
