29 people were injured and five killed in a Russian missile strike on Dnipro.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this on Telegram.
"Russia launched a missile strike on Dnipro, targeting infrastructure. A rescue operation is currently underway at the site. All emergency services are involved, providing people with all necessary assistance. Unfortunately, as of now, it is known that five people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Twenty-nine people were injured as a result of this strike," the head of state wrote.
He noted that Russian forces also carried out a drone strike on a shuttle bus in Zaporizhzhia on the same day. Three people were killed and six injured in the attack, including a child.

According to Zelensky, Russian forces also launched a repeat strike on rescuers and a fire truck in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. They also targeted energy infrastructure in the Sumy, Odessa, and Chernihiv regions, while Kherson and the Kharkiv region also came under attack.

"It is critically important to counter this Russian terror. People need greater protection from such horrific attacks. Above all, we need anti-ballistic capabilities. It is important that Europe intensify its work on developing its own anti-ballistic defense. Its own systems, its own missiles. The faster these capabilities are expanded, the more lives will be saved," the President stressed.
