In Odessa, during an air raid, a Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drone hit a residential building.
This information was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"The debris from the downed drone damaged a multi-story building in Odessa, causing a fire. Experts are currently working at the scene, and information about casualties is being clarified," according to the statement.
The Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces also confirmed the incident of the drone strike and the resulting fire.
"As a result of the debris falling from the downed kamikaze drone, which the enemy directed through residential quarters in Odessa, a fire broke out in a multi-story building. Information about the extent of the damage and casualties is being clarified. Relevant services are working at the risk of life to rescue people," the statement said.
