In mid-November of this year, Vyacheslav Kovalsky scored a hit on an enemy target at a distance of 3800 meters on the front line. The previous record dated back to 2017 when a Canadian special forces operative, positioned in a tall building, hit a target from 3540 meters.

"The unique 'Volodar Obriyu' sniper rifle, developed by SSU Brigadier General 'Hunter,' in the hands of an experienced sniper, a true Cossack, and warrior, is the guarantee of accurate and record-setting shots for the Service. Such shots bring our Victory closer every day," noted the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasil Malyuk.
