The Darkstar Coalition defense-tech startup support project has announced a new week-long bootcamp for Ukrainian developers, which will take place this spring in Kyiv.
According to Darkstar's press release, the project offers €1.5 million in potential funding for one bootcamp, a thorough pre-selection process for startups, and facilitation of direct interaction with military, banking, and government partners.
"Our bootcamps are five-day innovation accelerators, bringing together the best minds in defence tech. Hosted in Ukraine, in partnership with elite military units, these events foster collaboration, integration, and real-world application of groundbreaking solutions"
Companies receive invaluable feedback, field-testing opportunities and combat validation. Potential partnerships, integrations, and sales - all on the spot.
The bootcamp also opens pathways to potential partnerships, integrations, and sales—all in real-time.
Darkstar is a coalition of over 30 startup founders and investors from Estonia, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Finland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine, united by a common goal—to develop the European defense technology ecosystem.
Partners of Darkstar include Brave1, Heroes & Allies, military intelligence representatives, and members of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
At each bootcamp, over 20 military units actively collaborate with the coalition, providing operational feedback on the effectiveness of cutting-edge technologies and their results in combat use.
"We are actively bridging the gap between modern warfare challenges and the technologies needed to address them. With investments, facilitating partnerships with elite military units and governments, and a robust commitment to collaboration, Darkstar is not just investing in defence tech - we’re redefining its future," writes Darkstar'.
