The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, visited Washington, where he emphasized the need to continue providing assistance to Ukraine.
David Cameron stated during his address, as referenced by the provided link, that he visited Washington to continue supporting Ukraine.
"During our meeting today, we discussed the situation in Ukraine. That's why I came to Washington this week to once again emphasize that we must continue providing Ukraine with financial and military assistance so that it can resist Russia's illegal invasion," Cameron said.
Cameron also likened Russia's invasion of Ukraine to Hitler's invasion.
"My generation, like that of my grandfather, is fighting aggression in Europe. In the past, it was Nazi Germany, today it is Russia," the minister said.
The head of the Foreign Ministry stated that during meetings with members of the U.S. Congress, he emphasized that the war in Ukraine is a threat not only to the security of Europe but also to the security of the United States.
"If we don't stop Putin in Ukraine, he will continue his aggressive actions. The next target could be a NATO member, and then we will be forced to fight Russia directly. In that case, we will lose not only money and weapons but also the lives of our citizens," Cameron declared.
