From the territory of the unrecognized Transnistria, there is currently no threat to Ukraine.
This was reported by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, during the United News telethon.
"Objectively assessing the enemy's forces and capabilities on the territory of the unrecognized republic, there is no need to talk about serious threats. Most of these provocations are informational, military, and political, which the enemy planned regarding the PMR (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic), are not even supported within this formation and accordingly not implemented," noted the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Yusov recalled that recently there was an "information wave" suggesting that Transnistria was about to join Russia. However, both the Main Intelligence Directorate and official Chisinau clarified that this did not correspond to reality and were considered provocations.
At the same time, Yusov emphasized that border strengthening is being carried out in all directions, including the southern one.
