The Ukrainian arms company DevDroid revealed details of its new product. Built on the experience of using the combat module TGP, Wolly has reduced weight and is easily transportable by a single individual.
The Wolly turret allows for remote shooting with a 7.62mm machine gun, features automatic ballistics calculation, and can hit targets up to 1000 meters away. Moreover, the operator can be located in a safer position up to 100 meters away from the firing position. This information was provided in a recent video from the developers.
Control of the module is done through a tablet and gamepad. It can operate autonomously for 130 hours and weighs 30 kg (excluding the weight of the ammunition). The previous TGP module weighed 45 kg.
According to the developers, the Wolly turret can be installed stationary in a trench with a control cable running to a bunker. Additionally, it is integrated with artificial intelligence to enhance aiming speed and efficiency.
It is worth reminding that the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced the start of mass production of robotic ground platforms. According to him, more than 50 ground drones have already been tested at the testing ground.
