Russia conducted another night-time mass drone kamikaze attack on Ukraine, with the majority of the targets destroyed by Ukrainian air defense systems. No casualties were reported.
The press center of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that the enemy launched a mass attack, including in southern regions. Air defense units successfully destroyed 17 UAVs of the "Shahed-131/136" type, launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Specifically:
10 drones were destroyed in the Mykolaiv region.
4 drones were destroyed in the Kherson region.
3 drones were destroyed in the Odessa region.
In Odessa region, the enemy attempted to target port infrastructure, but the air defense forces effectively countered the attack. However, fragments from the downed UAV damaged a grain storage facility, causing a fire that was quickly extinguished by the facility's personnel.
No casualties were reported, and on Mykolaiv region, there was an incident where a fire broke out on one of the infrastructure objects, which has already been extinguished.
No casualties among the civilian population were recorded.
