This applies to residents of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

A very dangerous situation has developed in the temporarily occupied Energodar due to shelling by the invaders of the ZNPP. If Russian troops provoke an accident at a nuclear power plant, then 400,000 residents will have to be evacuated from two regions - Zaporizhzhia and Dnepropetrovsk.

This information was shared by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Starukh on the air of the national telethon.

"The situation is dangerous and not only for the Zaporizhzhia region. Let's take a 50 km zone of mandatory evacuation, which could result from a possible accident at the nuclear power plant in Enerhodar. This is more than 200 thousand in our region and under 200 thousand in the neighboring Dnipropetrovsk region … Cities Nikopol, Manganets, Energodar, Vasilievka, Dneprorudnoye and others," Starukh said.

The head of the military administration said the plan for evacuation from Energodar is being corrected and zones of risk of radiation contamination are being determined. This is done by taking into account the scale of a possible catastrophe.

The central authorities are in control of the situation. However, it is complicated to implement all measures to protect the population since the territory is temporarily occupied. Now the radiation indicators at the ZNPP do not exceed the norm, but due to the dangerous actions of the rashists, everything can change quickly.

Recall that the enemy has been controlling the ZNPP since March 4. The invaders also occupied Energodar, a nuclear power plant satellite city.

The Russians have repeatedly shelled the nuclear power plant's territory and even damaged several facilities. The Ukrainian authorities asked the International Atomic Energy Agency to help resolve the conflict.

The European Union and more than 40 countries of the world called on Russia to immediately withdraw its troops and personnel from the ZNPP. And the UN is ready to support the trip of the IAEA mission to the nuclear power plant, if both Ukraine and the Russian Federation approve it at the same time.
