In Mykolaiv region, during the night of January 30, a truck caught fire due to the falling debris of a downed Russian drone.

The Mykolaiv Regional State Administration reported this on Facebook.

"On the night of January 30, with the help of air defense forces, a UAV of the Shahed-136/131 type was destroyed in Mykolaiv Oblast. As a result of the falling debris, a truck caught fire, and the fire was promptly extinguished. The driver suffered a skull-brain injury, and his condition is currently stable," the statement reads.

Later, the State Emergency Service specified that the truck was transporting sunflower seeds.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire covering an area of 70 square meters. Five rescuers and one specialized vehicle were involved in the firefighting efforts.

Law enforcement officers and a medical emergency team were also present at the scene.
