In the first half of 2025, the share of telecommunications, computer, and information services in Ukraine’s total export structure increased from 38.5% to 43%.
This was reported by the IT Ukraine Association citing data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In the first six months of 2025, Ukraine exported various types of services worth $7.617 billion — 10.9% less compared to the same period in 2024 ($8.548 billion).
Despite the overall decline, the share of telecommunications, computer, and information services in exports grew from 38.5% (or $3.291 billion) to 43% (or $3.276 billion).
Among all telecommunications, computer, and information services, computer services traditionally hold the largest share. In January–June 2025, the export volume of computer services amounted to $3.210 billion, which is 0.1% higher than the $3.207 billion in the same period in 2024.
The main countries to which the Ukrainian IT sector exports its services remain:
- USA — $1.135 billion (–6.41% compared to 2024);
- United Kingdom — $283 million (+0.65%);
- Malta — $281 million (+10.82%);
- Cyprus — $231 million (+31.09%);
- Israel — $133 million (–13.09%);
- Switzerland — $127 million (–7.4%);
- Germany — $118 million (–7.93%);
- Estonia — $100 million (+23.79%).
