President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that American aid continues to arrive, and Ukraine is able to spend $1–1.5 billion per month on it.
The head of state said this while speaking with journalists.
“American aid is necessary for us. American aid is coming, and we will be paying for it. Who are ‘we’? ‘We’ today is, for example, the NATO PURL program. We have agreed with the Europeans, with NATO, and with the American side that we can purchase weapons each month for the sum of $1–1.5 billion under this program,” Zelensky explained.
He noted that he discussed this issue with U.S. President Donald Trump, and the latter was satisfied with this program.
“I believe it is important for everyone to keep America in the negotiation process,” the President of Ukraine stressed.
