The Albatros was equipped with a combat component from the company Roketsan.
The tests were observed by Admiral Ercüment TatlıoÄŸlu, the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, Haluk Görgün, the President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, Ahmet Akyol, the General Manager of ASELSAN, and other official figures from the Naval Command headquarters.
The tracking and targeting of the surface kamikaze drone, as well as the confirmation of the ship's hit, were carried out by the Bayraktar TB2.
Increased attention to drones of this kamikaze type began after their successful use by Ukraine.
