The Dignitas Technology Assistance Fund and the technological training project for Ukraine's defenders, Victory Drones, have launched the "People's Drone" project. It is an engineering course that teaches how to assemble a 7-inch FPV drone at home.

This information was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, on Facebook.

According to him, during the training, each participant will have access to lectures through the Zoom, a "list of components and must-have tools and materials to purchase, as well as access to a community of engineers where you can seek advice and ask questions."

"You assemble the FPV drone, send it to Victory Drones instructors. After that, the drone undergoes assembly quality checks and testing with weight. If the test is successful, the drone will be handed over to the military. The course starts every two weeks. The training is completely free," wrote Fedorov.

The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation also announced that participants in the course have already handed over more than 100 drones to the military.

Over 80% of them were received by Victory Drones instructors in good working condition, and the rest required some additional work.

"This is a very high indicator for pilot assembly!" concluded Fedorov.
