Moldova's energy system has experienced disruptions due to a massive Russian attack on Ukraine, although the situation is under control.
According to Moldelectrica, the Moldovan state energy company, reported issues in the energy grid shared with Ukraine due to attacks on critical Ukrainian infrastructure.
Moldelectrica noted that the situation remains manageable with sufficient local generation to handle minor disruptions. It was also highlighted that just yesterday, there were reports of an electricity surplus in Ukraine due to improved conditions in the Ukrainian energy system, leading to a resumption of electricity exports.
However, Russia has launched another large-scale aerial attack on Ukraine today.
Overnight and in the morning, in addition to drones, the Russian forces fired dozens of Kinzhal missiles at Ukrainian territory.
