Russian forces have returned to active storming actions in the south of the country. The head of the Unified Press Center of the Operational Command 'South,' Natalia Humenyuk, stated this during the broadcast of the telethon 'Unified News.'
'Maybe they have been re-planning and were expecting the arrival of additional units. Today we see that they are testing themselves at the level they roughly held before,' she said.
Humenyuk noted that there was a sharp drop in enemy activity.
If earlier we recorded from 10 to 13 storming actions per day, recently there were 1-3 storming actions. This is a sharp decrease. However, today there were already 9 storming actions,' she reported.
In addition, according to her, Russian forces are now using not only units like 'storm-z' but are also trying to bring in naval infantry and airborne troops, indicating a desire to increase the effectiveness of storming actions.
'Obviously, they are tasked with breaking through our defense,' she added.
Humenyuk assured that the defense forces repel these attacks. During the past day, up to 38 Russian personnel were destroyed.
