In the Belgorod direction, there is no concentration of Russian forces sufficient for offensive actions.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinyegubov, stated this during a briefing.
"A certain number of troops are there, of course, but they are mostly of a demonstrative nature. We monitor the situation around the clock to react promptly to any changes," said the head of the Military Administration.
According to intelligence data, Sinyegubov revealed that four cargo planes of the Russian Aerospace Forces recently landed at one of the airfields in the Belgorod region, bringing missiles for the S-300 air defense system.
"I assume that it was with these missiles that they later shelled Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region," stated Oleg Sinyegubov.
Additionally, several units of 'Storm-Z' have arrived in the Belgorod region, which are used purely for demonstrative actions according to the command.
"They were placed on armored vehicles, painted the letter Z on the sides, and let them roll along the state border with Ukraine, but at a fairly dangerous distance from our military. In other words, these were demonstrative displays – we are here, we haven't gone anywhere, to caution the Defense Forces against any active actions in this direction," reassured the official.
