The report on the influence of Russian and Belarusian intelligence services operating in Poland will be published in October, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, according to TVP World.
Tusk announced at a press conference that General Jarosław Stróżyk, head of the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service, presented him with a preliminary report outlining the organization and methodologies used by hostile agencies in the Kremlin and Minsk.
He added that the first report, containing significant findings, will be presented on October 29 at a cabinet meeting before being made public.
Tusk stated that this would be the first report to include findings and precise information regarding alleged activities of foreign intelligence and influence.
The Prime Minister emphasized that he was "personally very determined to ensure that the commission assesses the real threats posed by the influence of Russian and Belarusian services on economic and social life, and on Polish politics, rather than becoming a sort of 'witch hunt' used against the opposition."
