Russian forces launched a wave of coordinated attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours, killing at least four civilians, injuring dozens, and causing widespread destruction to homes, infrastructure, and businesses.
Zaporizhzhia
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian forces carried out 456 attacks on 12 settlements in the region. These included three airstrikes on Plavni, Huliaipole, and Novoandriivka, and 318 drone strikes, primarily using FPV drones, across areas including Kamianske, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka.
Six rocket attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) hit Kamianske, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Shcherbaky. In addition, 129 artillery strikes were reported in several settlements.
There were 19 confirmed cases of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, garages, and infrastructure.
Kryvyi Rih
In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drone attacks damaged homes, businesses, and solar panels in Kryvyi Rih. According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration:
“Last night, the region endured another UAV attack. According to the Air Command, air defenders shot down eight drones.”
Despite air defense efforts, a private house was partially destroyed, and several others were damaged. Fires broke out in a private enterprise and a decommissioned building but were extinguished. An industrial site was also hit.
In the Synelnykove district, a farming enterprise was targeted, destroying tractors and combines. A fire ensued, and multiple public facilities were damaged, including a shop, medical clinic, gym, school, cultural center, and administrative building.
Donetsk Region
The Donetsk region saw continued heavy shelling, with one civilian killed and 20 others injured, reported Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. The fatality was a resident of Kramatorsk, while injuries were reported in Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Lyman.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, at least 3,374 civilians have been killed in Donetsk region, and more than 7,648 injured, not including casualties in occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Sumy Region
In the Sumy region, Russian forces launched 85 attacks on 36 settlements, killing one woman and injuring 10 people. The attacks targeted 19 different territorial communities.
“In the Sumy community, a civilian woman born in 1953 was killed as a result of drone strikes,” stated the Sumy Regional Military Administration. “Nine people were injured... In the Mykolaivka rural community, one person born in 1960 was injured.”
The strikes involved guided aerial bombs (20), drone-dropped VOG grenades (5), and MLRS fire (5). Civilian infrastructure—including homes, schools, medical centers, stores, administrative buildings, and vehicles—was heavily damaged. Air raid alerts in the region lasted a staggering 18 hours and 26 minutes.
Local authorities evacuated 27 people from border communities, working alongside emergency services and civil organizations.
Kherson Region
In Kherson region, Russian forces struck 36 settlements, killing one civilian and injuring nine others. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, attacks targeted both residential areas and critical infrastructure, damaging 14 private homes, an apartment block, and a private vehicle.
In a separate attack on the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, a 66-year-old woman was killed when her home was hit by shelling.
Kharkiv Region
In Kharkiv region, a Russian drone strike ignited a fire at a market in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district. The blaze, which engulfed 500 square meters of market stalls, was extinguished by firefighters. A nearby post office and commercial buildings were also damaged. One woman was injured and diagnosed with acute stress reaction.
