During the day, 76 combat clashes were recorded on the front line, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the evening of December 25.
According to the summary, on the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy near Novomykhailivka, where three 'unsuccessful attacks' on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were recorded in a day.
In addition, the Defense Forces repelled:
• six attacks on the Kupyansk direction, near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region, where the Russian army attempted to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
• 24 attacks on the Lyman direction near Serebrianisky forestry, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Veseloye in Donetsk region
• four attacks on the Bakhmut direction, in the area of Bohdanivka
• 20 attacks on the Avdiivka direction, to the east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, as well as 12 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske
• three attacks on the Shakhtarsk direction near Staryi Maiorsk
• two attacks in Zaporizhzhia, in the Robotyne area
Additionally, as the staff adds, the Russian army continues attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, Russian forces carried out '12 unsuccessful storming actions, received a worthy rebuff, and suffered significant losses.
The command reports four airstrikes on Russian military targets, as well as missile strikes on the concentrations of personnel, weapons, and military equipment in four areas, two ammunition depots, and three anti-aircraft missile systems.
