Representatives of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation are recruiting Ukrainian citizens who have illegally crossed the border with the "Transnistrian Moldavian Republic".
According to the National Resistance Center, Russians are trying to extract information from Ukrainians who have illegally crossed the border regarding military facilities and the layout of the Ukrainian border with Transnistria.
They are also persuading them to work as informal collaborators and informants on a regular basis, threatening to return them to Ukraine if they refuse.
"Such hostile actions again demonstrate that the PMR lacks subjectivity and is a territory occupied by the Russian Federation. Therefore, we urge Ukrainians not to visit the “republic” regardless of the legality of the way to get there," emphasized the National Resistance Center of Ukraine.
