Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived on a working visit to Kyiv on Monday, January 22.
This was reported by the Twitter account (X) of the Polish Prime Minister's Office.
It is reported that today, Tusk has scheduled meetings with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
Note that this is the first visit of the Prime Minister of Poland to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia.
On December 13, it became known that Tusk was invited to visit Ukraine. The very next day, President Volodymyr Zelensky personally invited the newly appointed Prime Minister to Kyiv.
As reported by Polish media, the visit is necessary to initiate a reset in relations between the countries. Relations became tense after the blockade of the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers and the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain imposed by Warsaw.
