The new platform systematically reviews thousands of pages across social media, hundreds of diverse websites, and other resources to scrutinize information regarding the enemy's positions, locations, and equipment.
Described as a robust technology, it proficiently collects and processes extensive datasets of OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) and then transforms them into straightforward and comprehensible information.
"This is a powerful technology that can collect and process vast amounts of OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) data and then transform it into simple and understandable information. On the interactive map, soldiers will be able to verify or refine specific details to better plan their actions. Quality intelligence is the cornerstone of successful counteraction against the enemy," stated Mykhailo Fedorov, the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
He mentioned that there are already units within the Armed Forces that specialize in conducting reconnaissance based on open sources (OSINT) and gathering valuable information, but not all military personnel can perform these tasks, especially on the front lines. Currently, the development team is conducting beta testing of the technology and refining the tools of Kolossal.
